Save the date - Ukrainian Gaming Week in February 2021

Gambling is an activity enjoyed for entertainment in slot online and offline formats by people all over the world. Regulatory bodies and laws have not always been so friendly or open towards this activity despite the popularity.

On the 11th of August, Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed bill 2285-d into law which came into effect on the 13th of August.

Despite its legalisation only taking place mere months ago, Ukraine is showing an eagerness to grow and develop their new and legal gambling industry.

One of the biggest indicators being the Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 event, hosted in the region from the 24th to the 25th of February 2021.

Apart from excitement, there is plenty of expectation surrounding Ukraine's first massive gambling event and for CasinoWow it's the delight of being a media partner to the event.

The exhibition, hosted by the Smile-Expo International Company in Kyiv, will comprise of floor space of over 5,000 square metres. Over 100 participating companies will take part with 3,000 visitors attending the event.

The event forecast

Throughout the exhibition, there will be a conference during which international gambling experts, Ukrainian lawmakers and specialised organisation representatives discuss various aspects of the industry.

Lecture sessions will include reports on functional case studies, the introduction of new products and giveaways from sponsors and exhibitors.

The UGW selects the best companies within the sector on the first day of the event. A highlight of the event includes the UGW Awards Ceremony taking place during the party.

With such a massive event in place and large numbers of visitors expected to attend, various safety measures have been put in place, to help curb the spread of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

This includes body temperature screening, quarantine merch such as masks and sanitiser, and safe meals provided in individual dishes.
